CAR-T Cell Therapy for various clinical applications
Patients with relapsed or refractory B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia face a tough road ahead. Back in 2011, a clinical trial brought some hope when it revealed long-lasting complete remissions in patients with B-cell malignancies who received infusions of CD19-specific chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T cells. This breakthrough was recognized by Science Journal, which named cancer immunotherapy the year's major achievement in 2013. Fast forward to 2015, the first child enrolled in a CAR-T clinical trial, Emily Whitehead, made headlines by being invited to the White House during President Barack Obama's announcement of the Precision Medicine Initiative. And then, history was made on August 30, 2017, when the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Kymriah, the first living drug, for treating leukemia and lymphoma. Successful treatments have been achieved in the realm of blood cancers, and there's been a strong push to extend this approach to treat solid tumors as well. Initial outcomes are pointing towards the possibility of the next big breakthroughs happening beyond the realm of cancer. CAR-T cells might just become a versatile tool with wide-ranging applications in various fields, including autoimmunity, chronic infections, cardiac fibrosis, senescence-associated disease, and other conditions.

Frontiers of Voice technology and AI in Endoscopic Practice
AI requires significant time in labeling, doctor's Involvement and is deemed time-consuming and costly – especially with doctors understaffing globally. Wincomm, a leading manufacturer dedicated to the independent design and development of medical-grade touch panel PCs with 12th Gen Intel® Core™ processor and Intel OpenFL technology, integrated the Kenkone’s software, EVAS, endoscopy virtual assistant system to provide this AI-based endoscopic solution. This solution is an NLP-based platform to auto-label and auto-generate reports, auto-learn all “voice tagged” diseases and their features during the operating procedure and endoscopy screening to scale endoscopy cancer/polyps/tumour /ulcer detection across over – 20 subtype diseases. The solution comprises an edge and cloudified solution for AI in endoscopy surgery procedures attached to an Olympus Endoscopy Scope. This solution will help save time for doctors to enter AI-assistant diagnosis to operation development.

Machine vision and AI embedded surgical robot
Artificial intelligence requires a lot of time for 3D model training and doctor involvement, and is considered time-consuming and expensive, especially with a global shortage of doctors. Brain Navi proposes a 3D-based modeling platform for scanning and generating 3D models of patients during surgery. 3D-based modeling requires powerful computing power to instantly construct and navigate the robot during surgery to perform multifunctional surgeries for more than 15 subtypes of disease. The project includes edge and cloud solutions for artificial intelligence in endoscopy and brain surgery attached to the endoscopy scope. The solution will help save time for doctors, AI learning and model development. Using The 13th Gen Intel® Core™ processor, Sino-American Wantai provides the medical computer platform required for surgical robots, and demonstrates the design advantages of using OpenFL 1.3 computing through Intel® Xeon® processor servers to demonstrate the use of 3D AI models in surgery through machine vision. Results of application on robots.

Multi-modal AI detection of glottic neoplasm
Using FarEasTone's "5G remote diagnosis and treatment platform", combined with Intel's "OpenFL federated learning technology", Yadong Hospital's "voice database", and Jieluo Biotechnology's "MetaLite software", we jointly established an "AI voice model for laryngeal cancer symptom identification". The accuracy rate of identifying early-stage laryngeal cancer is as high as 80%, allowing people in rural areas to detect symptoms early and seize the golden treatment period through 5G remote diagnosis and treatment.
