Devin™ Blood Fractionation Membrane; Pathogen Real-Time Identification (PaRTI-Seq™ System)

The current practice of blood culture for pathogen detection is still limited to low positive rate (<20%) and time consuming, which can cause diagnostic and treatment delays [1]. Our patented Devin^TM blood fractionation membrane enables pathogen enrichment from blood within 5 minutes. PaRTI-Seq^TM system incorporates Devin^TM blood fractionation membrane and nanopore sequencing technology in order to detect pathogen rapidly (within 8 hours). This system increases the sensitivity of pathogen detection with the highest amount of microbial DNA recovery as compared to other methods.
