Intelligent Bed Strip

A new technology using an intelligent bed sheet made of fabric sensors is described as a novel advancement that supports wireless and continuous monitoring of vital signs without requiring wire attachments to the body. The intelligent bed sheet developed by Studio 1 Labs Inc. WidePlus is a functional textile production is a strength, and a support system already existed for finding corporate partnerships.

It can be used to support three distinct groups:

healthcare institutions with human resource constraints.
caregivers who provide care for seniors, infants and children at home.
independent seniors who prefer to age in place. This article describes two complementary research phases using the intelligent bed sheet to detect heart rate, respiratory rate, and respiratory effort.

Reusable Fabric for Medical Gowns

WidePlus has put a strong emphasis on new fabric technologies for protective wear during this pandemic. We have an ongoing commitment to developing durable technologies that fit the price points and needs of this market.

Many are using disposable medical gown made by non-woven PP fabric. Although lower priced to start, these disposable garments have a big impact on the environment. Reusable doesn’t mean protection & functional will be suffer, we can reach level 1, 2, or 3 requirement after 3. 10 & 20 times,(AATCC-42) depending on customer needs.

Although the reusable fabric price is higher to start, by using 10 or 20 times, the cost per use is lower than a onetime disposable garment and it is also stronger.
