UnicoVial®, the first biologic storage cryogenic container certified as a Type II Medical device by TFDA, is now available!

The complicated process of opening and taking out the cells from the traditional cryovials has caused inconvenience to medical personnel and increased the risk of contamination when treating patients. With the pursuit of perfection and strict requirements for product specifications, UnicoCell Biomed has developed and designed a cell storage cryogenic container suitable for clinical use. The patented design of the cryovial stopper allows for the direct taking out cells with a syringe without going through the complicated steps of decontamination and opening. Tamper-evident capping provides a safe and secure container for ultra-low temperature storage and transportation of valuable cells. UnicoVial® has undergone multiple material and functional tests and, after years of trials and improvements, was finally approved by TFDA as a Type II medical device in May, 2021. UnicoVial® is currently the only cryovial certified as a medical device for storage of cell products at ultra-low temperature.
