VeriSee DR by Acer Medical increases adoption by Thai hospitals

VeriSee DR, developed by Acer Medical, has been introduced into more than 10 hospitals in Thailand, and has successfully established strategic partnerships with local upstream and downstream vendors in the healthcare industry.

Since the beginning of this year, VeriSee DR has been successfully introduced into two public hospitals in Thailand- Wiang Pa Pao Hospital and Fort Ingkhayutthaborihan Hospital, and has been adopted by other large-scale general hospitals, such as Thung Song Hospital and Nan Hospital. This medical software helps Thai doctors save time in diagnosing diabetic retinopathy (DR), increase the accuracy of diagnosis, and refer high-risk patients to ophthalmology specialists for follow-up treatments, thus further reducing the risk of blindness.

Acer Medical actively promotes VeriSee DR in the Thai market, not only establishing partnerships with hospitals, medical device distributors, and system integrators, but also grasping the demand for the application of smart technology to promote the upgrading of the healthcare industry under the "Thailand 4.0" national policy, and promoting Taiwan's smart medtech to the international market to bring a higher standard of quality of healthcare to more diabetic patients overseas.

VeriSee DR (AI-assisted diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy software) is the flagship ophthalmic AI product of Acer Medical. It has netted medical device market approval from local authorities in six markets, and has been adopted by more than 170 hospitals of all levels in Taiwan and international markets.
