With the rapid development of technology as its goal, Taiwan Stanch has joined forces with the chemistry, biology, and medicine departments of major universities to establish a development center to design innovative products. The center focuses on the development and production of consumer medical products and has accumulated 40 years of solid foundation in the research of various gels. Recently, Taiwan Stanch has developed new gel technology that leverages of the gelation property of different fluids to implement thermostatic control at high and low temperatures. This technology has been granted 17 patents around the world.

The hot/cold pearl pack series of products has acquired ISO9001, ISO13485, CE, and GMP certifications. The pearl pack contains unique pellets that do not flow whether it is laid flat, curled up, or standing upright. The pellets can even provide a light massage.  The pearl pack can be used cold or hot, stays flexible at freezing temperatures, and is reusable.

The other product that has multiple pending patents is the inflatable gel cushion of the home care series. The inflatable gel cushion has two separate gel and inflatable layers and once inflated, can provide excellent comfort. The gel layer can absorb the body temperature to effectively dissipate heat and offer coolness, while the inflatable layer can relieve the stress on the spine from prolonged sitting. The cushion adopts a sealed chamber design that improves cushioning and durability.
