Innovative Health Virtual Bootcamp: Taiwan Market Deep Dive


Austrade partnered with CSIRO (Australia’s national science research agency and innovation catalyst) and AstraZenca to deliver a virtual bootcamp for innovative Australian healthcare companies, covering the key markets of Taiwan, China, Singapore and Korea.


In Taiwan, the Australian Office partnered with Institute for Biotechnology and Medicine Industry (IBMI) and Astrazenca Taiwan to deliver a market deep-dive on 19 April, followed by a virtual showcase of Australian capability on 23 April.


Companies including Evrima, Singular Health, genomiQa, ResAPP Health, Prospection, Singular Health, SNAC and StickyCell, participated online and met face to face with Taiwan-based industry professionals and a venture capital company representative.  


The market deep-dive (Monday, 19 April from 10:00am to 12:10pm) was to assist Australian health companies to navigate trends and opportunities in the Taiwan health market; including clinical pathways, IP protection, business environment and access to funding.
