HPB introduces the 'Ezcaring P1 High-Privacy AI Intelligent Care System,' leveraging technology to safeguard the independent living of the elderly.

The 2023 Healthcare EXPO Taiwan is set to take place from November 30 to December 3 at the Nangang Exhibition Center. Professionals and companies in the healthcare and health care fields will gather to share the latest technologies and innovations. At this highly anticipated event, HPB will showcase its globally unique Ezcaring P1 high-privacy AI intelligent care system and related peripheral support products, aiming to use technology to create a high-quality life from infancy to old age.

As a leading technology company, HPB is dedicated to providing innovative solutions to improve the quality of healthcare. The Ezcaring P1 is HPB's latest product, utilizing artificial intelligence combined with PPS privacy protection technology, introducing a new concept to the healthcare field. The system can monitor activity patterns in real-time and provide immediate alert notifications to caregivers or medical units to ensure the safety of the care recipient. The product's high-privacy features have received acclaim, offering thorough oversight without compromising the privacy of the elderly, making it ideal for applications in home care and sensitive settings such as care institutions and medical facilities.

In addition to presenting the 'High-Privacy AI Intelligent Care System - hpb Ezcaring P1,' HPB is actively participating in the Central Taiwan Science Park's 'Precision Health Industry Cross-Domain Promotion Project,' combining optical industry expertise with AI technology to develop the healthcare industry for the elderly and infants.

At the exhibition, HPB will showcase the latest jointly developed AI intelligent care system for infants - Ezcaring B1, in collaboration with Tungs' Taichung MetroHarbor Hospital. This system combines RGB imaging and near-field radar to capture the behavior patterns and physiological signs of infants. Through AI analysis and interpretation, it provides alerts to parents or caregivers, preventing accidents such as mouth and nose covering. Automatic life recording ensures that parents do not miss any details of their child's growth process.

The chairman of HPB, Oscar Hsu, said, “The product was independently developed by H.P.B. Optoelectronics and HPB Hi-Tech and underwent clinical trials verification by Tungs' Taichung MetroHarbor Hospital. ”

The hospital provided a specific field in the standard neonatal room and professional collaboration between physicians and nursing staff to test the physiological and behavioral indicators of newborns, and verified its effectiveness according to quantitative standard specifications. In addition to recording the behavior and symptoms of newborns, the system can also issue warning notifications for sporadic abnormal behaviors, such as foreign objects covering the mouth and nose, spitting up, and abnormal sounds.

Deputy Director of Tungs' Taichung MetroHarbor Hospital, Wu Zhaoxin, said that the "AI Baby Care System" has undergone six months of product verification, confirming that the unique technology product, with the assistance of a high-precision monitoring system, reduces abnormal incidents in newborns, saves more work items and time efficiency, and helps reduce the workload of caregivers.
