Colorectal cancer has occupied the first place in the incidence of cancer in Taiwan for 12 consecutive years, consistent with the status in Europe and the United States. Colorectal polyps often precursor to cancerous growth, and can be detected and removed by colonoscopy. However, according to the literature, the polyp missed rate of colonoscopy might be up to 20%, which could result in interval cancer after colonoscopic examination.

A half million of white light images are used in deep learning and training of GI-CADTM AI models. Our colorectal detection database is of the highest quality and the most versatile in Taiwan.
