NCHC in Taiwan operates a series of supercomputers, including the Taiwan Sugon series. These supercomputers support advanced scientific research in fields such as life sciences, agriculture, medicine, natural sciences, engineering, and humanities. The showcased National Biomedical Digital Data and Analysis Cloud Service Platform primarily provides information services related to biomedical research. It includes specialized computing and storage facilities for biomedical data analysis, parallel computing clusters with CPU and GPU nodes, high-speed parallel file systems, and geographically distributed backup services. Additionally, the platform offers various open-source genomic analysis software tools and customized services, as well as access to the QIAGEN IPA commercial software database for systems biology analysis. To accelerate genomic secondary analysis tasks, the platform also provides acceleration services using Illumina DRAGEN and NVIDIA Parabricks.
