Eucare Launches the New “Boodion Telemedicine Platform”
Eucare has officially launched the brand-new “Boodion Telemedicine Platform,” developed with the vision of integrating technology and healthcare services. In line with the Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) and the National Health Insurance Administration (NHIA)’s digital transformation initiatives. The platform empowers clinics to modernize their operations, enhance healthcare accessibility, and provide patients with convenient, comprehensive telemedicine services.
Building on the success of the first-generation Eucare App—developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) and the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) during the COVID-19 pandemic—Eucare partnered with more than 20 major hospitals, 200 clinics, and 2,000 community pharmacies to deliver diverse healthcare services. The app reached over one million registered users, enabled over 150,000 consultations, and completed nearly 50,000 home medication deliveries, helping patients overcome barriers to medical access and prescription fulfillment.
Following the pandemic, Eucare has continued to advance telemedicine innovation. Since 2023, the company has worked with LINE Taiwan and clinic system providers to launch the new “Boodion Telemedicine Platform,” officially introduced in June last year.
By integrating LINE Official Accounts with clinic Hospital Information Systems (HIS), the platform streamlines the entire telemedicine experience—covering online registration, virtual NHI card check-in, online payment, video consultations, and e-prescription services. Physicians can conduct teleconsultations directly through the HIS interface, record medical notes, track patients’ physiological data or lab results, issue prescriptions, and complete subsequent NHI claim submissions in one seamless workflow.
