With the advancement of society and the improvement of quality of life, the traditional view that “being free from illness” equates to health has gradually been replaced by a more holistic concept of Wellness. In fact, as early as several decades ago, the World Health Organization (WHO) defined health as “a state of complete physical, mental, spiritual, and social well-being,” emphasizing that true health is a comprehensive balance across all aspects of life.
The Taiwan Integrative Medicine Promotion Association (TIMPA) has further expanded the concept of wellness into six core areas: functional medicine, nutrition, exercise, mind-body-spirit integration, long-term care, and ecology. TIMPA brings together like-minded professionals from various fields to promote integrative medicine and healthy lifestyle practices. Through its educational platform, the Holistic Health Academy, the association systematically trains Holistic Health Managers to fulfill the mission of “Integrative Medicine × Preventive Healthcare.”
In this upcoming event, TIMPA will join hands with outstanding partners to participate in the exhibition, working together to promote the concepts and techniques of integrative medicine. We hope to empower more people with accurate health knowledge and guide them on the path toward true holistic well-being.
