Visa Information

Visa Application

Depending on the purpose of visit, international visitors need to apply visa prior to their trip to Taiwan. Please see visa types and visa-exempt entry here.

In general, foreign nationals apply for visitor visa to enter Taiwan. The application must be submitted to Taiwan’s representative office overseas for review. It will take at least three working days for the decision (visa issuance or not) to be made. It could take longer provided a large volume of visa applications have been submitted.

COVID-19 Response

Healthcare+ Expo takes preventative measures and complies with the public gathering guideline issued by the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to ensure the safety and health of all exhibitors, visitors and staff at the Expo.

International arrivals are no longer required to present a COVID-19 PCR test result from 15 August 2022 onwards. However, a saliva test is required upon arrival. The ‘3+4’ quarantine policy and face-mask mandate still remain in place until further notice.

For the latest instruction or restriction to enter Taiwan, please refer to the Bureau of Consular Affairs and CDC for real-time updates.

Please note that the organizers of Taiwan Healthcare+ Expo are unable to issue visas nor guarantee the approval of visa applications.
