To uphold its core values of "Quality First, Welfare Foremost", the Center provides diversified animal resources and testing services based on a dual-track approach of advancing scientific application and animal welfare.

National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences

National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences (NTUNHS) is Taiwan's first institute of higher learning for nursing and health related studies. Our university is not only a pioneer in the domain of nursing and health care but also the sole institution offering a doctoral nursing program among the vocational education system in Taiwan.

NTUNHS was founded in 1954 as the Taiwan Provincial Junior College of Nursing. In August 2010, the Ministry of Education approved the school's new name, the "National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences," in recognition of the school's outstanding and continuing pedagogical achievements. NTUNHS has three colleges: the College of Nursing, the College of Health Technology, and the College of Human Development and Health. NTUNHS focuses on providing comprehensive health care education, enhancing healthcare quality, and taking care of every stage of human life cycle.

Since 2010, NTUNHS has been awarded and sponsored by Ministry of Education’s “Teaching Excellence Project” as recognition to NTUNHS’s dedication to cultivate top-quality health care professionals. Moreover, NTUNHS is awarded MOE’s “Model Technological University Project Grant”. NTUNHS is proudly ranked by Business Weekly Magazine and 104 Job Bank Corporation as Top 1 University with the highest college graduates employment rate in Taiwan.

NTUNHS has become a model for health care education through years of hard work and carefully planned expansion. Our university is a high quality academia institution that aims become a focal point for health care knowledge and a training center for Taiwan's next generation health care talents.

The quality control in agriculture and food industry is limited to traditional biotechnological testing methods. Even though the simplest test paper is used for the full inspection, the high time and financial cost and the product destruction were required. Therefore, only the sample inspection was adopted and then induced the risks of company credibility or social problems.
This technology \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" The Photonics AIoT Technology for Rapid Quality Inspection \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" uses the unique optical characteristics of the object material as features to identify whether the overall optical characteristics of the mixture fit the standards. In addition to different customized hardware and AIoT software, the cost-effective, non-destructive, and rapid quality inspection is revolutionarily achieved for full inspection. Two commercial projects are shown. The long-distance, free-of-consumables, hand-held machine for the rapid inspection of plant viruses [Dr. Lan]. Green light illuminates Phalaenopsis leaves to distinguish normal or disease (CyMV or ORSV affects appearance Virus) plants; The similar one quickly checks the roasting mature degree of meat using dual visible / near-infrared lights. It has been successfully introduced in some leading food factories, and recently started some development issues in industrial/environmental protection/sustainable industries.Their vision is to achieve the cost-effective, non-destructive and rapid quality/environmental inspection on production lines/fields with the revolutionary, economical, and customized hardware and big data database for even small and medium-sized enterprises.

This intelligent breeding management system has three main axes: a global IoT system, an intelligent aquatic biology analysis system, and an AI automatic feeding system.
The global IoT system obtains complete data of the fish environment, provides AI module big data calculation to make it practical, and at the same time cooperates with automation technology to reduce manpower.
The intelligent aquatic biology analysis system uses image data and builds an AI recognition module for abnormal fish behavior. If the fish has abnormal behavior, it can be prevented early to increase the survival rate of the fish; and the length and weight of the fish are measured through the image to observe the fish growth status.
The AI automatic feeding system uses AI to determine whether to continue feeding fish, which can effectively reduce feed waste and reduce breeding costs.

National Taiwan University Hospital-An Intelligent and Integrative Platform for Hematological Examin

Hematological malignancies are highly heterogeneous. A correct diagnosis needs integration of several tools and platforms so that hematologists can select the best strategy for treatment and follow-up. The test system encompasses morphology, flow cytometry, and molecular tests for peripheral blood, bone marrow, and body fluid. These highly complex tests are time-consuming, labor-intensive, and far from standardization. To deal these problems, we will introduce a slide scanning system , an artificial intelligence (AI) system for marrow cell morphology, the eight-color dried antibodies in flow cytometry, and a panel of the next-generation sequencing method.

Four advantages of Integrative Platform for Hematological Examination:
(1)We will introduce a slide scanning system through which the clinicians can immediately access patients' bone marrow morphology at the remote sites.
(2)We also have developed an artificial intelligence (AI) system, which can more efficiently and precisely identify the marrow cells and store the image files for training purposes.
(3)We are the first to apply the eight-color dried antibodies in flow cytometry.
(4)We have developed a panel of the next-generation sequencing method to efficiently analyze the mutation status of 30 genes in myeloid malignancies.

National Taiwan University Hospital-“Capstone” - The forward-looking Project of the Ministry of Scie

National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH) is the leading medical center as well as the pioneer hospital with emergency care in Taiwan. The Emergency Department (ED) of NTUH founded in 1972 has accumulated rich experience in emergency medicine.

National Taiwan University (NTU) is regarded as the top university in Taiwan. In 2018, NTU established the “MOST Joint Research Center for AI Technology and all Vista Healthcare (AINTU)”. This year, AINTU is honored to participate in the national project “Capstone”. This project is jointly implemented by the ED of NTUH and AINTU with the goal of relieving the overcrowding problem at ED by AI. At this exhibition, we ardently expect that visitors can take this opportunity to experience the advancement at the ED operation by engaging in role-playing.
