Exhibitor Application

Q: How do I apply to exhibit at the Expo?
A: Please apply online. You will then receive an email confirmation of your application with payment details or be contacted regarding your application in 3 to 5 working days.
Q: What is included in my exhibition fee paid to the Expo?
A: Your fee includes booth or space rental, construction (shell scheme), staffing, marketing and promotion, as well as the fee for Healthcare+ B2B one-year access.
Unless otherwise stated, all the others not included in the fee are on a rental basis or chargeable services.
Q: When and how do you allocate booths?
A: There are two rounds of booth allocation. Exhibitors will be contacted by email and phone for booth allocation in due course.
Round 1: For exhibitors with 8 and 8+ booths that are fully paid on or before 31 March.
Round 2: For exhibitors with booth(s) paid on or before 31 May.
Round 2 will proceed after the information session on Thursday, 15 June. Exhibitors not participating in booth allocation, whose booth(s) will be allocated by the Expo organiser. After which any claim of change will not be accepted.
Exhibitors with payment made after 31 May will be contacted respectively by the Expo organiser for booth allocation.
The Expo organiser reserves the right to modify floor plans and booth allocation where appropriate or where the modification serves the best interest of exhibitors.
Q: When will I receive my invoice and when is the payment due?
A: You will receive the invoice at the same time the confirmation email is sent after 3 to 5 working days upon receipt of your application. You shall make the payment through bank transfer at your earliest convenience or no later than 31 August.
Q: What if I need to change my application that had been submitted?
A: If you need to change the number and/or type of booth or space applied, please email your account manager with your request no later than 28 September.
For anything else, you can login to the exhibitor information management system, where you can maintain the information required to display on the Expo website (company logo, booth number, key messages, etc.)

Healthcare+ B2B

Q: How do I apply as a corporate member (exhibitor) to Healthcare+ B2B?
A: Exhibitors with physical booth(s) or space(s) booked are deemed as corporate members to Healthcare+ B2B. You will receive an email to activate your account in 3 working days after receipt of payment.
Being a corporate member, you will be able to publish your company/business profile on Healthcare+ B2B and participate in B2B events held online and in-person throughout the year, as well as marketing and promotion whenever available.
For those who are merely interested in joining Healthcare+ B2B, please see the B2B introductory page, where a ‘Register Your Account’ button can be found to complete registration.
Q: How do I know that I am already a Healthcare+ B2B corporate member?
A: Once the payment has been made and confirmed, an account activation email will be sent in 3 working days to corporate members who apply a new account or apply to membership renewal. The email will indicate your membership expiry date.
Q: Can I change my corporate account?
A: You will need to email us to specify name, email and contact number to be replaced, and provide us with your existing account information (company, name, email and contact number). It will take 3 to 5 working days to proceed with your request.
Please note the company or organisation registered when your account was activated cannot be changed.
Q: What if I forgot my login credentials?
A: Please click on ‘Forgot password’ on the login page to receive an email to reset your password. If you forgot your login account (email), please email us with the information on your company/organisation, email and contact number for a lookup.
Q: Can I share my corporate account with colleagues?
A: Yes, you can. A corporate account is intended for use on one device. You cannot login with your corporate account from more than one device at the same time.
If more than one from your company/organisation needs to visitor-register for attending the Healthcare+ Expo, this should be done using different individual accounts. Individual account is free of charge.

Booth Construction and Dismantling

Q: When will exhibitors be allowed to begin with booth construction and dismantling?
A:
  • Booth construction / decoration (move-in): 8.00-17.00 on 28 November and 29 November.
  • Semi-withdrawal: 16.00-18.00 on 3 December. **Only carry-on luggage and hand-carry stuff allowed to be moved out from the showground.**
  • Booth dismantling (move-out): 7.00-12.00 on 4 December.
Q: What should I be cautious about in-and-out the showground during the given time?
A: You should wear your exhibitor badge and a helmet all the time during the given period when construction takes place, and please keep your personal and valuable belongings safe at your sight.
For contractors and service providers involved in booth construction, dismantling, transportation and other logistic matters, please refer to https://oshcard.osha.gov.tw/ for the issuance of “Taiwan occupational safety and health card”.
Q: Is freight storage available at the exhibition venue?
A: No. Exhibitors should arrange their freights following the given time. Alternatively, please contact the Expo’s freight partner below for relevant services.

Q: Any entry instructions for cargo trucks?
A:
  1. Cargo trucks and authorised vehicles carrying goods are given access to the showground during the move-in and move-out time.
  2. Forklifts and lift trucks under 2.5 tons (inclusive) are given access to operate at the showground.
  3. Trucks entering the showground are required to pay a NT$1,000 deposit at the entrance. The deposit will be returned to vehicles leaving the showground within the move-in and move-out. For vehicles stay longer than the time limit, NT$200 will be charged per hour (time is counted from the time the vehicle enters the showground). The maximum speed of vehicles inside the exhibition hall must not exceed 10 km/h. Engines must be turned off after vehicles arrive at their destination.
  4. Cargo trucks are only allowed to the showground from the east entrance on Jingmao 1st Road. To enter the Sky Dome exhibition hall on the fourth floor, vehicles must drive up the truck ramp (also known as the spiral ramp with a total width of 11.4 meters and a height of 6 meters; the height limit for vehicles is 4 meters). Cargo trucks to showgrounds on the ground level and fourth floor are limited to 4 meters high maximum.
  5. The maximum floor loading capacity of the ground-level exhibition hall is 5 tons/m2, and that of the Sky Dome exhibition hall is 2 tons/m2.
  6. Vehicles or freight exceeding the width of the freight entrance or freight elevator door or the height limit of the spiral ramp will not be allowed to enter the exhibition hall. Exhibits and decorations exceeding the weight limit must be dismantled and packed separately before entering the exhibition area. Anyone causing damage to the facility through improper handling will be liable for the damage.
Q: Any regulations for cargo trucks weighting capacity?
A:
Ground level (including entrance driveway)
1. Weight capacity: vehicles and goods combine 1) 20 tons for dual-axle; 43 tons for 3 axles and above.
2) For safety, distance between two vehicles is 6 meters minimum.
2. Load restrictions for forklifts 1) The total load of a single forklift should not exceed 18 tons.
2) When two adjacent forklifts transport different objects, they should maintain a safety distance of at least 6 meters.
3) For objects weighing more than 18 tons (and less than 36 tons is mandatory), two forklifts may work together, provided they maintain a safety distance of at least 4 meters.
4) Each loading and unloading operation must not last longer than 50 minutes.
3. Load restrictions for crane trucks 1) The total load of a single crane car must not exceed 27 tons. When 2 adjacent cranes handle different objects, they should keep a safety distance of at least 9 meters.
2) For cranes with a maximum load of less than 18 tons, a wooden board (at least 15 cm thick) or a steel plate (at least 1.5 cm thick) must be placed under the load beams in advance to support the load. For crane trucks with a maximum load of more than 18 tons, wooden sleepers must be placed under the load beams. The size of the wooden sleepers should not be smaller than 90 cm (length) x 90 cm (width) x 15 cm (height).
3) Each loading and unloading operation must not exceed 50 minutes.
4th level - Sky Dome Exhibition Hall (including ramps and unloading platforms)
1. Weight capacity: vehicles and goods combine 1) 15 tons for dual-axle; 35 tons for 3 axles and above.
2) For safety, distance between two vehicles is 6 meters minimum.
2. Load restrictions for forklifts 1) The total load of a single forklift should not exceed 8 tons.
2) When two adjacent forklifts transport different objects, they should maintain a safety distance of at least 6 meters.
3) For objects weighing over 8 tons (and less than 16 tons is mandatory), two forklifts may work together, provided they maintain a safety distance of at least 4 meters.
4) Each loading and unloading operation must not last longer than 50 minutes.
3. Load restrictions for crane trucks 1) The total load of a single crane car must not exceed 12 tons. When 2 adjacent cranes handle different objects, they should keep a safety distance of at least 9 meters.

Q: Is parking free at the TaiNEX 1?
A: No. Car-park is charged with the following rates.
  • Motorcycle: NT$30 (no hourly rate applicable)
  • Vehicle- weekdays
    Up to 60 minutes: NT$30
    More than 60 minutes: NT$15 per 30 minutes, with NT$180 charged maximum
  • Vehicle- during exhibitions
    Up to 60 minutes: NT$60
    More than 60 minutes: NT$30 per 30 minutes, no maximum charge applicable
Over-night car park (after 22.00) will be charged NT$300. Please refer to car parking for more information.

Q: Who should I contact for booth-related matters?

During the Exhibition

Q: Any regulations regarding volume on-site during the exhibition opening hours?
A: Exhibitors must comply with the regulation of TaiNEX 1 to keep the volume under 85 decibels. Violators will be warned on-site and fined accordingly.
  1. First-time violation: Volume exceeding 85 decibels by measurement will be issued a ticket on the spot.
  2. Second-time violation: Volume exceeding 85 decibels by measurement will be issued a ticket on the spot and fined NT$50,000.
  3. Third-time violation: Volume exceeding 85 decibels by measurement will be issued a ticket on the spot, fined NT$100,000 and cut electricity for 10 minutes.
Q: Can exhibitors sell products on-site?
A: Yes, with invoice ready for each product sold. Lacking of invoicing will be fined NT$5,000.
Q: Can exhibitors provide food tasting and drinking on-site?
A: It is open now for food tasting and drinking following a lift of Covid-19 restrictions.
Q: What should I do to remove my exhibits or equipment during the exhibition opening hours?
A: To ensure the safety of all attendees, any exhibits and equipment (excluding carry-on luggage and toolkits) to be moved out from the showground during the Expo opening hours will not be permitted without the form for goods release. Exhibitors must submit the pre-filled form for the Expo organiser’s office to stamp and hand the form to security by the exit.
Q: Does the Expo allow children in?
A: For safety, children under the age of 6 are not admitted to entry. Children over 6 should be attended by parents whilst their stay at the showground.
