Integrated innovative smart technology to facilitate medical care for the people, combined with various smart medical solutions such as smart wards and smart pharmacies, to provide integrated innovative medical services for the public.

TAIPEI MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

Established in 1960, over the past century, Taipei Medical University underwent the process of continuous expansion, transformation and innovation. Today, TMU has expanded into a world-class university with 11 Colleges and 1 General Education Center, 6000 students per year, 47,000 alumni around Medical Academic Institute, Medical Industry and six affiliated hospitals which are TMU hospital, Wan Fang Hospital, Shuang Ho Hospital, Hsin Kuo Min Hospital, Tapei Cancer Center and Taipei Neuroscience Institute.

TAIPEI MEDICAL UNIVERSITY -HSIN KUO MIN HOSPITAL

Advantages of endoscopic fusion surgery over traditional forms of surgery, or even minimal invasive fusion surgery, include the ability of the endoscope to visualize different angles under higher levels of magnification, ensuring the complete removal of the intervertebral disc and endplate preparation for the subsequent fusion procedure. Through a surgical wound of only 18 mm, endoscopic fusion surgery is able to implant the same cage and pedicle screws that are implanted in traditional spine surgery. With the use of endoscope in spine surgery, the application of endoscope has broadened to include fusion surgery for further clinical benefits.

TAIPEI MEDICAL UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL

Taipei Medical University Hospital (TMUH), the first affiliated hospital of Taipei Medical University (TMU), was founded in 1976 and has built up the basis between clinical service and medical research education. TMUH continues enhancing medical care quality and reinforcing the hardware and software equipment to provide high-grade medical services. Since 2018, three medical buildings have been renovated; moreover, TMUH introduced an intelligent medical system that gives the hospital a whole new look. The number of hospital beds has increased to nearly 800 beds so far, and the number of faculty and staff has exceeded 2,000 people, making TMUH the benchmark of domestic and international medium-sized hospital.

TAIPEI MEDICAL UNIVERSITY-SHUANG HO HOSPITAL, MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND WELFARE

Shuang-Ho Hospital was opened on July 1, 2008, and it was commissioned by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and was the first Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) hospital in Taiwan, with a total of nearly 1,600 beds. In addition to acute care, the hospital also provides long-term chronic care services and has introduced advanced equipment to provide a full range of medical services, not only making it the largest hospital but also forming a network of best medical care with Taipei Medical University Hospital and Taipei Municipal Wanfang Hospital in New Taipei City.
This medical institution is committed to combine all the best teams from different disciplines to provide the public with the most complete medical system for acute and critical conditions. It is also a training hospital for senior ambulance technicians in New Taipei City and the city’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to coordinate a network of hospitals as response in time of medical disaster.
Shuang-Ho Hospital strives for the health and well-being of the public and continues to make breakthroughs in service, teaching, and research, and cooperates with medical institutions around the world to expand the depth and breadth of the medical profession in Taiwan. On June 1, 2023, we opened the Biomedical Technology Building of Taipei Medical University for teaching and research, for which this serves as a biotechnology research park to provide a comprehensive environment for teaching and research, as we continue to refine and set a high-quality, high-performing standard of international university hospital.

Taipei Municipal Gan-Dau Hospital (Managed by Taipei Veterans General Hospital)

Taipei Municipal Gandau Hospital upholds the principles of "Patients as Family, Integration with the Community," offering high-quality medical and long-term care services. By integrating technology and humanistic care, the hospital incorporates elderly services into the Gandau community, achieving cloud-based operations and becoming Asia's first smart hospital. TAIPEI MUNICIPAL WANFANG HOSPITAL

Wanfang Hospital Continue to actively recruit medical elites, strengthen the medical level, establish tuberculosis centers, cancer centers, cancer hyperthermia centers, stroke centers, integrated Chinese and Western integrated care centers for pain, burns and difficult wounds, laser cosmetology centers, ... and other developments with unique characteristics.

TAIPEI NEUROSCIENCE INSTITUTE

Exablate Neuro, the Magnetic Resonance-guided Focused Ultrasound (MRgFUS) is a Focused Ultrasound platform for treating Essential Tremor and Tremor-dominant Parkinson’s disease. It can deliver up to 1,024 ultrasound waves across the skull to precisely ablate a target deep in the brain. The result for many patients is immediate improvement of tremor with no overnight hospital stay.
